Here’s how to activate password self-service:

  1. Once you successfully log in to Pronto webmail, you will see a gear icon for Preferences at the bottom of the left menu. Click it to go to your settings.

  2. On the Settings menu, click Password (the first item under General).
  3. You will need to enter your current password at the top, but you don’t need to change your password unless you want to.
  4. Enter an alternate email address in the “E-mail Password to” field under “Forgotten Password Recovery.”
  5. After this, if you click the “Forgot password” link on the login screen, the system will send your password to that alternate email.

How to access your new email and your spam filter when the server is unavailable:

  1. Once there, you can log in with the same email and password you use to log in to falconmail.webhostny.com.
  2. Once you log in to the email filter server (while falconmail is unreachable or maintenance mode), you will see additional menu options: Inbound Quarantine and Inbox. (Note: This Inbox only has mail received while the server is in maintenance mode)
  3. You will also see the email options like Compose and Reply All.
This is a temporary feature for continuity. Once the server comes back, all email will be delivered in your regular mail client.
